Attorney Profile

Mr. Nierman founded Nierman Law, P.L.C. in 2001 after practicing business law and civil litigation for another Iowa law firm. In the seven years prior to attending law school, worked for a Fortune 100 insurance company.

Mr. Nierman is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Iowa, College of Law. He also serves as an expert witness in insurance cases and paid consultant to other attorneys involved in insurance litigation.

He graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Law with High Distinction and was named to the Order of the Coif. He completed some graduate level work at the University of Iowa, College of Business. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.

He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Iowa and is a current or former member of numerous professional associations including the American Bar Association, Iowa Bar Association and Christian Legal Society.

Craig and his high school sweetheart have been married for more than twenty years. They have two children and are active members of Parkview Church. He enjoys spending time with his family, involvement in his kids’ activities, the fall color in Iowa and white water rafting.
