Automobile Insurance
While all motorists are required to carry a minimum amount of
automobile insurance, there are many aspects to your insurance
policy.
Liability automobile insurance coverage refers to the amount of
benefits you can collect from the insurance company that covers
the person that caused your injuries and damage. This coverage
provides for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages,
as well as property damage and rental car expenses.
Medical Payment coverage pays for medical expenses for you as
well as people in your household and car. It is important to coordinate
the use of this coverage with your health insurance policy. Using
this coverage may also increase the amount you ultimately recover
by requiring your insurance company to help you pay for your expenses
in making a claim against the person who caused your injury.
Uninsured Motorist coverage applies when the person that caused
your injuries does not carry automobile insurance. This coverage
provides for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages,
and other damages.
Underinsured coverage provides compensation for your injuries
if the other driver was at fault and has insurance, but does not
have carry enough insurance to pay for your damages. Like Uninsured
Motorist coverage, this coverage provides for medical expenses,
pain and suffering, lost wages, and other damages.
Comprehensive and Collision insurance coverage pays for damages
to your own car regardless of whether or not you were at fault.
If you are involved in any type motor vehicle accident or loss,

Homeowner's Insurance
The standard homeowner's insurance policy provides two basic forms
of coverage.
First, there are benefits to help you pay for repairing or rebuilding
the home when it is damaged by fire, wind or some other destructive
events. Most homeowner's policies also provide benefits for damage
to personal property. Some policies have replacement cost coverage,
which allows you to replace your damaged items with brand new items
without a deduction for depreciation.
While items with special value, such as jewelry or works of art
are usually either not covered or covered by a limited amount,
you may pay extra for additional provisions or policies to insure
these items. Titled vehicles, such as automobiles or motorcycles,
are typically covered under a separate policy if they are destroyed
or damaged by fire.
Second, most policies also provide liability protection in case
of the homeowner's negligence. In other words, if
you are injured by someone else, you may be able to recover your
damages from their homeowner’s policy. The policy may also
provide medical payments coverage should anyone who is not a member
of the homeowner's household become injured on the insured premises,
regardless of negligence.
Nierman Law, P.L.C. is experienced in helping people making both
types of claims.

Renter's Insurance
A person who rents a property from someone else will often carry
renter's insurance that protects the policyholder’s personal
property from loss. Most renter's insurance policies also provide
liability protection for the policyholder in case of negligence.
